Bike Patrol

Our bicycle patrol is an additional specialty in which members of our department obtain certification. They are primarily utilized during parades and large town gatherings. These officers have the ability to quickly maneuver terrain a police car cannot, which can be essential during off-road emergencies or crowd management. 

Our bike patrol officers are also prepared to handle the beginning stages of medical emergencies in areas that can take EMS personnel longer to get to because of geographic or constructed obstacles.
